We gave wheels to the idea.

OUR STORY

There is always a love story in the middle isn’t there?

But SequoiaCAT came before that…

Sequoia Campers And Trailers was founded by Daniel Herman in South Carolina, starting as a fun idea to build a tiny camper in a teardrop shape. What began as a personal project quickly turned into something bigger when his TikTok account (@everydaydan) gained attention, leading to orders for teardrop trailers with taps. One build led to another, and soon, SequoiaCAT was in full swing.

In 2021, everything took an unexpected turn when Dan met Stephanie—a Brazilian living in Italy, temporarily studying in Budapest, Hungary. There was only one thing to do—pause the trailer business and fly across the world to marry her!

Dan and Steph spent two years in Italian Alps before moving back to South Carolina in 2024. Now building trailers together, they picked up right where he left off, creating the Sapling Camper, followed by the Beerdrop 2.0 in aluminum.

SequoiaCAT continues to grow, bringing innovation and craftsmanship to every trailer we build.

We believe…

“It all begins with an idea. Whether it's for adventure, business, or a unique mobile setup, we are passionate about building high-quality, functional trailers that inspire new possibilities.”

Our Goal

“More than just building trailers, we want to help people bring their ideas to life—giving their dream wheels.”

Hey! It’s EverydayDan

My name is Dan, and I build teardrop campers and trailers South Carolina. I have been doing carpentry since 2013. At the beginning of 2020, I moved out to Washington State and built Tiny Houses with Handcrafted Movement in Vancouver, WA. (Below I have pictures of some of my experience and the Tiny Homes I’ve built). I eventually moved back to South Carolina to build teardrops campers. It’s what I do, and it’s what I love.

Tiny Houses I’ve Built

My name is Steph, graduated in Architecture in Brazil, my dream was to travel the world. I got into extreme sports and all kind of crazy adventures. But after having traveled to more than 30 countries, I was ready to create roots. I loved the idea of building trailers when I met Dan, so I jumped right into SequoiaCAT with him.

This is Stephline

This is our cat. Some friends found him when he was just a tiny kitty on the street and offered to us. Steph felt in love right away. He is always hanging around in the shop with us as we build trailers, making us laugh with his unique personality.
